Oxford is now offering an Introduction to Computer Science course that introduces students to the fundamentals of computers and coding. The course started off with students building aluminum foil boats to see how much weight the boats could hold before sinking. This lesson taught the students problem solving through a hands on experiment as learning how to problem solve and work together is fundamental when learning how to code. Over the course of the next two terms, students will learn how to code their own website using HTML and CSS.
