Faculty Spotlight: Justin Laudano
Mr. Laudano wears many hats here (along with his trusty Atlanta Falcons one); his most obvious roles are as the Head of the English Department and Dorm Master in Davis Hall.
Want to know more about him? Check out his responses to our questions below:
What’s your favorite spot on campus? My favorite spot on campus is the soccer field because I enjoy throwing the football or playing sports with the kids when the weather is nice.
Favorite thing about Oxford? The best part of Oxford is laughing with my coworkers and living in a community that helps each other. It is nice to live and work in a place where all faculty members are willing to go out of their way to make your day awesome.
Favorite meal from Chef Dave? Jambalaya.
Favorite student project? One of my favorite projects I have done with a student involved a student creating a video representation of a story we read in class. It was exciting to see him take something we read and bring it to life on the screen.
Something people might not know about you? Something people may not know about me is that I am an avid fan of country music. There is nothing better than some sunshine, a comfy chair, and some good country music playing.
