This poster explains how billions of dollars in oil is a motivation for U.S. military imperialism. This oil is prioritized because car and oil lobbies have leveraged political decisions on infrastructure and legislation. This influence has kept the U.S. car dependent, and has had drastic and negative impacts on America's health and environmental footprint. This propaganda poster I created is intended to persuade viewers that our oil wars are needed to support our car culture and our “freedom”. This was inspired by The Inner Party's propaganda in George Orwell's 1984.
